Professional Golf 2024 & 2025

Liv in the Mornings - PGAT in the Evenings 😁 #perfect

This might sound a bit odd.

Watching Phil Mickelson in the Grant Horvat videos, I noticed something interesting—he was playing really well and hitting his driver surprisingly straight, which has been his Achilles heel for years.

Now, of course, this isn’t tournament golf, but he did mention a new driver that he said is making a big difference.

To my knowledge, he hasn’t really contended in any LIV events so far, with his best recent result being T2 at The Masters since joining Liv.

But now, sitting T4 in Hong Kong, could there still be life in the old dog yet? 👀
Mickleson did an interview after finishing and was talking about equipment and ball changes for this tournament. Apparently had his driver spinning at 2900 or something. May be all golf nerd stuff but he did talk about how he was thinking about keeping in play rather than trying to overpower the course.
Uihlein however was remiscent of a young Mickleson. Punching out from bushes, bouncing off trees on his way to a -6 round. Whereas Casey looked in control and plotted his way around. Laying up short of stream whilst Uihlein made the 290-310 carry.
Fancy Uihlein's luck to run out tomorrow although he knows the course well. Probably between Garcia and Casey.
Wonder what Surrat found on the range after a +5 round, to shoot -8 the next day!

Michael Kim is having another good week, not sure if he's been mentioned on here before, but he's a great follow on Twitter, gives great insight to the life of a tour pro.

Slowly slowly catchy monkey Mickelson getting the crowds pumped out in Hong Kong - he trails Garcia by 3. Great 2 hours of golf ahead. (y)

Just put an each way bet on Phil Micklson for the masters at 200-1

Place in the top 6 to win..

Outside bet but worth a punt.

Impressive 64 in last round today

Morikawa had a 3 shot lead and was cruising.
Now one behind...

Was a good final round, enough potential interest to keep me watching and and unexpected winner in the end

Did SS show the chip in live?

Seems a bit of frustration stateside...
I'm not sure tbh. I think they take the USA TV feed. Lots of stuff was clearly recorded during the breaks and then replayed.
