I enjoyed the PGA last night. Course was a test for them and there was some quality golf. As Nick Dougherty pointed out at one stage, it's nice to see them challenged.
Wonder if Bradley is harbouring hopes of teeing it up in the upcoming RCVery tight leaderboard so far.. No one ripping it up....-3 the best so far..
Rory lipped out for solo lead on par 3, 14th...then lipped out again for the par from 3ft....... He does miss some amount of short putts..
Well you jinxed McKibbin, poor finish.Great to see Mckibbon going well with 3 holes to go when I turned Liv Hong Kong on just now.
One off the lead.
Got some talent that young man.
Bryson just moved to one off the lead also which is ominous.
Is it even possible to be a Playing Captain these days..?Wonder if Bradley is harbouring hopes of teeing it up in the upcoming RC![]()
As in, are there rules against it?Is it even possible to be a Playing Captain these days..?
They are going to be challenged even more today as the course dries outI enjoyed the PGA last night. Course was a test for them and there was some quality golf. As Nick Dougherty pointed out at one stage, it's nice to see them challenged.
Being angry about that is something I will never relate to.Anyone else catch Rory's F bomb on 18 when he missed the bunker with his approach shot?
Sure is. Its a vastly overblown job with little of substance behind it. 'Lesser' captains have built it up as a serious job nearly there with winning a major - thats by those who didnt actually win majors. And with 17 ot whatever vice captains (jobs for the boys if ever there was), there are more than enough to buzz around in carts and do the TV interviews. Is it even possible to be a Playing Captain these days..?
Do you come here just to criticize/make light of whatever?Sure is. Its a vastly overblown job with little of substance behind it. Liv in the Mornings - PGAT in the Evenings#perfect
This might sound a bit odd.
Watching Phil Mickelson in the Grant Horvat videos, I noticed something interesting—he was playing really well and hitting his driver surprisingly straight, which has been his Achilles heel for years.
Now, of course, this isn’t tournament golf, but he did mention a new driver that he said is making a big difference.
To my knowledge, he hasn’t really contended in any LIV events so far, with his best recent result being T2 at The Masters since joining Liv.
But now, sitting T4 in Hong Kong, could there still be life in the old dog yet?![]()
Pretty much the entire field on liv are still world class players
Not sure I could think of 5 PGAT players guaranteed to leave them standing on any given week
It's strong, just not as diverse as pgat
“Entire field on LIV are world class” ?
That’s a statement
Well that's your statement, certainly not what I wrote
Do you stand by it? Or are you just being your usual self?
“Pretty much the entire field on liv are still world class players”
What’s this usual self stuff ?
So how many are not world class
What’s the issue -can people not question when a statement is madeYou actually want a number! Jeez
I reckon you're a good bloke Phil, I'd probably enjoy a round of golf with you, but your online persona...
Have a day off Phil, the suns outWhat’s the issue -can people not question when a statement is made
Surely it’s ok to ask who is it you thinking are world class players on a tour
