Anyone watched any of it ?

How dull is it ? - commentators are dull , no atmosphere at all , no electricity at all

Shockingly bad

I found it hard to sleep last night so watched virtually every minute of it. If it was as bad as you think it was I would have drifted off straight away.

You need to get over this commentator problem that you seem to have, just watch the golf and enjoy it if you can. Slightly off topic but the moaning about commentators seems to be universal. One guy has got so upset by the match summariser (ex international captain) on some of my teams games, daring to put forward his critical observations, that he has started a petition on change.org to get him removed.

Back to last nights golf, yes there was some pretty poor play with Scott only a shadow of his former self and Bubba losing the plot again and blaming telephones and everything else for his dire shots. Some pretty decent shots as well, Haas chip in, Danny Lee chipping in the clinch it on 18 (I think) and a fairway shot holed for eagle. Early on it looked like USA were going to run away with it again as they were up in four out of the five matches but the Internationals battled back well. Most of the games also went down 18 so overall I thought it was a pretty decent nights viewing.

Edit: Just remembered it wasn't a chip by Lee to win it.

How about Phil being all square on 7th tee and ending up 2 down on the 8th tee!

How could I forget that. How did that end up? I came out of the shower and heard them mention something about the official admitting he had used a wrong ruling but no mention of the score being changed, or even if you could do that. I thought they did well to pull back to all square after that bombshell.

Quite enjoyed it to be honest and I think the format works better than the Ryder Cup.

Some good golf being played on both sides and some poor putting by Scott with the short stick which he seems to shove every time.

He apparently switched to a prototype firmer version of the CS which, with his swing speed, would probably give him more distance.
