Premium Ball Market

Found a vice ball today. It seemed nice enough, if a bit firm. Not sure what it was though. Prefer a prov1x or TM tour preffered x.

They are cheaper because they cut out the middle man by selling direct to customer and don't do any tour sponsorship. The pro or pro plus are equivalent to premium balls. Absolutely fantastic. Give them a try... :thus:

Tried both and personally the only ball that comes close to the Prov1x, are the Z-star XV and the TM TP X. IMO everything fails to beat these three balls.

likewise, ive tried a couple of diff models of the vice ball, and both felt like a cheap budget ball (clicky and hard) they might have been cheaper versions, but wouldn't be rushing to buy them on what i tried

I must be the only one who doesn't really notice much difference between cheap and expensive balls.

Distance is pretty similar and checking on the greens seem to be fairly similar for me.

Over the last few months for play rounds I have been hitting alot of two balls per shot and I have played with mostly cheap 2nd hand balls, but have also played with expensive balls.

The cheap balls are like Donnay Ti, Dunlop Tour soft and Ti, Medalist and some balls I have never even heard the name of (like extreme, bullet IIRC) and more expensive balls like Srixon(ad333), bridgestone(b330 and e6) and Pro VIs, and to be honest driving distance were all very similar, even shots into greens I could not tell much difference with checking etc and couldn't feel any difference in putting.

Some balls appear to travel less, like really old top flites balls and DDH feel very hard.

Just not sure why I can not see much difference. Oh well means I am cheap for golf balls and birthday pressies are cheap.

I've just ordered a doz Vice Pro Plus to give them a try and find out what all the fuss is about. Really hoping I like them but still think the logo looks a bit naff

let me know how you get on.
Do any tour pros use them? I mean I know they dont sponsor any but I struggle to see the reason behind this if their product really are "Premium"
