Premiership,last day of the season?

Point was the likes of Wigan v QPR does not whet the appetite for the neutral football fan, that's why MOTD will stick it on last when everyone's fallen asleep!

They may well produce an entertaining 4-3 score but it will carry nothing of the significance for your average Joe football fan of say Liverpool beating Chelsea by the same score.

Pedigree - that's what the Premiership should show off - big stadia, big teams!

Interesting point and thats your opinion, however, if on MOD Man Utd v Chelsea was a 0-0 and West Brom v Newcastle was 3-3, would the neutral fan still prefer to watch the BIGGER teams?

With their 50million forward not able to score , or their star players cursing down the cameras ,, or their star players surrounding the ref every time something goes against them .. ok you might suppport a bigger & better footall team ,, but REAL football fans want to see good attacking open football when they are nuteral to the result , blackpool were a joy to watch as a neutral . sounds like you are a fan of your own team ONLY (ok thats allowed) rather than a football fan in general.. football is about more than 1 or 2 clubs ,

Have to be honest and say I'm not too fussed about any of the teams coming up with the exception of QPR who will buy enough quality to survive. I can see Swansea/Reading and Norwich being in the relegation dogfight and think the same old faces Wigan, Wolves, Blackburn will be there too. Sadly I think if we get drawn into the Europa League qualifiers through this fair play crap Fulham will be down there too.

I hope Reading come up. Good localish rivalry for my team(Chelsea) and I think they play quite good football. TBH Im glad the football season is over and I haven't renewed my season ticket for next year.

The only news I am waiting for is that obnoxious **** Warnock to get fired by QPR before he gets a chance to abuse every referee in the Premier League. None of his teams have ever conceeded a goal that were his fault.

And you can add Holloway and former Hull manager Phil Brown to that list too which is why I was glad they went down too.

Talking of Wolves and Suzi Perry, she had a real go at me at Sky when I was doing NFL work for them. She was presenting a Z-List celebrity event on Super Bowl night at the Hippodrome and we went live to them a few times.

She was wearing a low cut dress and someone explained that she presented the speedway for Sky.

"Based on that dress, I know where they can park one of their bikes" was my comment not realising I was on air.

Forget Richard Keys and Andy Gray, I was doing it long before them.

You're everything I want to be.....

Dear old Colin. Loathe him or loathe him you can't escape the garbage he spouts. Such a shame Wally Downes was held back from decking him, when he was shouting at one of his Sheffield players to break Reading's Steve Sidwells leg.

Fellas, you're clearly smashed - Neil Warnock is a legend! I liked him when he was at Sheffield United, I loved him at the Palace and he's doing great at QPR.

Perhaps you'd appreciate a more stale example of management, Mark Hughes perchance. He's even more monotonous than Graham Gooch and that fella invented the monotone!

Homer I think you need to check where Blackburn have finished in recent seasons, excluding this. Last year they were 10th and under Mark Hughes and Souness were in Europe. Oh and By the way can you name the 4 teams that have won The Premiership? QPR is not one of them!

But 3offthetee,it's the most exciting league in the world.....so exciting the same teams win it year after year.

A bit like the other top league in the world, Spain, except the same two teams win it year after year.

Premiership is the most competitive, and for me the most exciting. Quality may not always be the best, but i would rather watch it over any other one. Of course next year when the mighty Royals are back in the Premiership, it will be even more exciting. Look forward to another win at the toffees. ;) ;)

Bundesliga......best for competition.

Premiership has 3/4 good teams of which any given season no more than 2 can win it then 3/4 decent teams then the rest are overrated pish.

Spain has more depth in quality but again only 2,sometimes 3 can win it.
