Pre EU Referendum Poll

Do you want UK to stay in or leave the EU

  • Stay in the EU

    Votes: 18 50.0%
  • Leave the EU

    Votes: 18 50.0%

  • Total voters
    36
  • Poll closed .
And very similar things will apply to YES-bodies no doubt.

Quite likely true!

But have the benefits of either leaving or staying in been fully explained? Apart from the almost welcom opportunity of eliminating the jobs of 24 UKIP MEPs who purport to not want to be there, but are happy to 'take the cash'!

These articles and associated links might help, though the link to the Open Europe report doesn't work for me!

Maybe - but you are the one telling Obama where to get off.

And then we have Cameron today on sacking ministers if they back an EU exit - claiming that he was misunderstood - his statement yesterday was misrepresented by the press - ALL the press. No Mr Cameron - your arrogance overtook your brain - and today you are standing there all determined and clear about what you meant - and lying through your teeth. Thank God I never voted for your party.

You're letting your bias overule you SILH. Plenty of times when all the press say Sturgeon/Salmond said somethuing, then they're lying. Now because it's Cameron, he's the liar.

Cameron was/is merely stressing the convention of 'Cabinet collective responsibility'!

Where exactly did I tell Obama where to get off?

Stuff the whatabootery - there is only one PM - does it REALLY not bother you one iota that he stands there with that smug pained look on his face - lying through his teeth?

Not a very well structured argument SILH!

It is perfectly structured, If I have an apple in my hand and it is the apple I have to eat I might spot a bruise and suggest that it is a little bit rotten - and someone might well point to another apple and ask 'what about that apple - see the worm - is it not rotten also?' And indeed it might be, but it is not that apple that I have in my hand and that I must eat.

I saw and heard David Cameron lying to me and all who were watching and listening - it may not have been the most earth shattering lie but it was a blatant one nonetheless What anyone else might say or do or might have said or done in the past were of no concern to me at that moment.

It's so blatant - who do they think they are kidding when they do this?

Theres a bit of a pattern emerging here regarding your views when there is a vote coming up. You've backed a few losers so far.

If Cameron is able to wring some concessions out of the EU and that enables him to stand on a YES ticket with the majority of Tory MPs then great and I am on his side. But DC please don't lie to me and then indignantly make out that you didn't.

Did he really lie through his teeth? He has said that he expects his ministers to toe the line and support him through the negotiation process, he has not said what the policy would be after that and running up to the referendum.

The best thing about this whole referendum (and giving the electorate their say) on whether we want to remain part of a union of nations is that the snp are opposed to it!

Do they fail to see the irony (or should it be hypocrisy) in this?

Personally I think we are now to far down that particular road to tun back now, but hey, whatcha gonna do about it? The common man in the street most probably will not gain or lose either way. :)

Well he has either lied on his 'clarification' or his press aides were equally confused by his intentions since, after the PMs press briefing, the aides confirmed to the press that their understanding was correct.

Not great that a PM cannot make himself clear to his own press aides over a key statement he is about to make to the press - and then the press also get it wrong. Either that or he was completely clear to his aides and perfectly understood by the press,
