Do you have an outside electric point? I have one, but not specifically where I’d want to have a BBQ.
Yes, I ran in some sockets when I built the pergola

Do you all use the pellets? If so, are they tricky to get going?
Do you get the Ninja ones or do you get any old bbq pellets?
BBQ ordered, hopefully arriving tomorrow![]()
It's the standard, small one. £229 but we had a £50 voucher so £179. I didn't get the stand, I have something it can go on, and we didn't get a cover as I'll move into the garage between uses. Basically, no extras thenSpill the beans which one, any accessories? I had a 15% discount voucher a couple of weeks back but it expired unfortunately.
Might look in to a sideline of making mobile bases for these things seeing as they are so popular![]()
Not necessarily superior, just an alternative. It is simpler. No need to keep gas bottles, have a spare, keep replacing them, maybe have to replace mid cook. It's instant heat, as is gas to be fair, but it won't run out or need replacements.Could someone share why is this product superior to a simple gas bbq? Can’t see it but happy to be persuaded it is![]()
I see, thank you. Not an issue for me as my gas bottle usually lasts around 18 months for us and then it's an easy swap at the nearby garageNot necessarily superior, just an alternative. It’s much more versatile than a regular bbq, I haven’t used the oven in the kitchen for over 2 years.
What makes it better for stuff that you could’ve done in the oven? It’s much more versatile than a regular bbq, I haven’t used the oven in the kitchen for over 2 years.

This goes back to the air fryer thread
They cook things better, quicker and using less energy than an oven.
My air fryer has replaced my oven for us as a family of 5 it's only when we have guests
I've just bought the BBQ from this thread aswell, looking forward to using it
I made one of my own.I used some spare worktop from when I had the kitchen fitted and put it on top of the wooden frame.Might look in to a sideline of making mobile bases for these things seeing as they are so popular![]()

You're such a modern man. We've got one, use it a lot - love smoking meat in there too - takes longer but bang a chicken in there with your choice of pellets and let it do it's thing.
We're going camping to Abersoch in a few weeks - the trip will incorporate a couple of junior opens for Jamie at Nefyn and Aberdovey as it happens. We've booked a fully serviced pitch with electric so will just take the Air Fryer, Ninja BBQ, and the kettle, and I reckon that will cover us for anything we need to cook.
