Never kept a count but it's been a few over the years. Had two in a round the first time I played Wensum Valley which sticks in the mind. If I have one nowadays (and it's been rare for a while) I seem to have them on away courses and never at home oddly - we've longish uphill par 5's which aren't easy i suppose. It's golf, who can explain it...

I have had more than 21, exact amount not quite known.

One I remember was on the first hole at Barbados golf club, a 500 yard par 5. I was playing with 3 locals, and there was a strong following wind. I hit driver 8 iron to a couple of inches (closest I have been to an albatross) but only got a half as one of the others also had an eagle. The other two players had a birdie and a par. Collectively we were 5 under par for one hole.

Also had an eagle when playing 4'somes once. I drove the green on a downhill par four and my partner holed the putt.

Still not had one on a par 3 though:(

I ticked 21+ though I expect after 25yrs of golf the answer is somewhere well into the hundreds. Pretty sure Ive had 21+ this year (have eagled 5 diff holes on my home course), 3 of the 4 par 5s are regularly reachable for me and 2 or 3 of the par 4s can be driveable in the right conditions

Your eagle last weekend was a peach!

In competition rounds I've had 2 on the same hole at my home course and one in the practice round at Gleneagles on the 6th in September.

Only 3

Two were on short par 4's where I drove the green
The other was a par 5 where I was maybe 10 yards short in two and holed the chip

playing at Badgemore Park at Henley on Thames - eagles are a rare commodity. BUT with all the Red Kites we have up there - the count on hitting them could be much higher!!!!!
I went past Badgemore Park on the coach into school. Now that is going back a few years.

Only the one, club championship second round... Started off with a birdie on a difficult first and then holed my 110 yard wedge into the green on 2nd for an eagle, 2. Most please I have ever been. All though on track to get the score i needed, i failed later on.. bad times...

4 so far.

Best however was in a matchplay tie on the Kings at Gleneagles. Playing the 6th, from the championship tee's, I knocked my second shot just short left. The guy I was playing hit his second to the middle off the green.

I chipped in for the eagle, and thanks to the fact I was stroking, my net albatross meant he couldnt even half the hole with his eagle putt :)

Two, both on the same hole about 7 years apart . the hole our 17th is 472 yards - first time i hit a good drive, came up short with second on the fringe and chipped in, the second time this June i split the fairway with a drive of about 280 and pured a 3 iron to about 6ft and sunk the putt .On both occasions my brother in law was playing with me. i was well chuffed with the last one having on played 4 times this year due to a shoulder problem, in fact i finished the round birdie, eagle, birdie! ( first nine was rubbish though)

How long are these drivable holes? Was it back in the day when you drove more than 235yds?

Couple around 285 that ran and ran on baked hard fairways. Heck as a lithe supple teenager I could bang 3 woods on there. Pieman was a member at London Scottish and must have been able to drive them with ease too. A couple were downhill too

I'm lucky enough to have had plenty with lots of reachable par 4's and 5's about. Being long helps. Would have had a heap more if I was a better putter.

I'm not sure of my exact number, but voted 11-20. At my current club, which I have been a member of for 4 years I have eagled the 5th (holed 2nd shot on a par 4), the 7th (on green in 2 on a par 5, holed a 20ft putt), the 9th (holed my pitch shot approach into a par 5), the 10th (holed 2nd shot on a short par 4), the 12th (hole-in-one on a par-3), the 13th (holed my 3rd shot on a par-5) and the 17th (holed 2nd shot on a par 4). So that is 7. I had several at my previous club, mostly 3's at short par 5's. They had the practice of leaving two holes open on each green so they could change the pin positions easily. I once holed my 3rd shot into the wrong hole at a par-5, so not an official one! I have also had three albatrosses in my life (all 2's at par 5's), which I rate as being better than hole-in-ones at par-3's because they are more under par. :)

14 for me.

First and most recent on Par 3s :D

Only saw 6 go in the hole. Only putted for 2 of them! One of those (a Par 4) I'd had a 7 at the day before, so was still over Par for it for the weekend - but the eagle was part of my only sub-par round!
