I like listening when I go running, any recommendations?
Prefer sports based or funny, if possible both!

Or maybe historical. Templar type stuff, anything to take the mind off the run lol

Thanks

Ricky Gervais with Karl Pilkington are brilliant podcasts

My favourite sports podcasts are:

Golf - No Laying Up, or The Clubhouse with Shane Bacon
Football - The Football Ramble

Gervais podcasts are about 10 years old now, but my word they were fantastic at the time and if you haven't heard them and like Gervais then they're a must listen and there's enough of them to keep you going for a while - start from the beginning!

Golf podcasts

GM Clubhouse of course (actually it is usually very good, apart from when Tom has microphone issues, so I'm not just blowing smoke up their asses)
ByTheMinGolf. Huggy and Laurence Donegan are always great.
Shackhouse, Geoff Shackleford is always good value.
State of the Game is mostly good but it can get a bit 'old people rambling on about how good the old days were' at times.
Golf Digest

Others

Mayo and Kermode Wittertainment
Guardian Football Weekly
Desert Island Disks archive http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/features/desert-island-discs/find-a-castaway
'The Infinite Monkey Cage' (I can guarantee you will say 'Wow, that's interesting' at least 3 times in each one)
'WTF with Marc Maron' can be good depending on the guest, although he does ramble on a bit at the start before he starts the conversations, but you can forward through that.

ESPN does an occasional golf one. I always listen to their baseball ones and Bill Simmons (formerly of ESPN) does some superb NFL ones during the season.
