I guess I’m an outlier…🤪

Literally the best thing about golf is the diversity of courses and holes on offer — every tennis / squash / basketball etc court is the same size. It’s what makes golf infinitely more interesting!

I love an away day, even more if it’s a Top 100 course😁
And even more if it’s a Top 100 links course 😁😁

I love playing different courses, it’s what makes golf different to almost every other sport. Especially a course I have never played before. Some of them are obviously better than others and some offer a different challenge, long, tight, small greens, penal rough etc etc. Some courses are hard and some are easy.

To the OP I would say just enjoy the time you are out on the course and don’t worry about your score. Golf is hard to play well every time you go out there. Some days you play well and other days you don’t, but you’re out playing golf so what’s not to like. Take time to look around at the nature when you are waiting to take a shot, it’s amazing what wildlife you see and hear sometimes. And it takes your mind off the brand new Pro V1 you just lost in the pond on the 2nd hole. ⛳
