Playing drunk/hungover- is it worth it?

Don't often have a skin full these days but after the captains away day a few weeks ago I was a bit worse for wear the following day. The worst part was bending down to pick the ball out of the hole which seemed to bring on a headache over my right eye.

...
i find the secret is not to sober up;)

Ever!

Hungover or playing drunk is not conducive to good play, but on a jolly is part of the 'fun'!

A couple of pints or so before a 2nd round for the day has had the effect of relaxing the swing, but putting can be dire and it takes a couple of holes before the balance is under control!

I struggled at the start of the last H4H meet, in fact I nearly didn't make it out of the car park when I arrived!

I don't need a hangover to make golf difficult. My swing does that. I always play to try and shoot the best score I can and wouldn't want to play hungover. It defeats what I'm trying to do. That and I'm not really suppose to drink, certainly not to excess anymore

I find it best not to be hungover in a competition round, but think a bit of fresh air and stretch of the legs is a good way to walk off a headache in a social round of golf.
Beats moping around at home feeling sorry for myself.
