Played Cooden in the wind today

I'm not good in a wind that strong and after 7 holes I thought i'd never play golf again, it was as if it was my first ever game, tops, duffs, thins, sclaffs, very depressing.
Then when all was lost and I'd mentally made up the advert to sell my gear I finished birdie, birdie, par, eagle.
Go figure this crazy game that we all love!

i love playing in high winds, played at Cullen in Jan with 60- 70 mph gusts
5 iron 90 yards into and 270 behind
