Playability test - with a difference

As for doing it for free, I'd bet you'd get a few volunteers from the retired members if their yearly subs were waived and they got a bit of brekky & lunch on the house. Wouldn't cost the club too much then either.

I was thinking along those lines too.
Surely the only people who might get upset would be the slow players themselves, the culprits if you will.
And once the word is out, then I would think the culprits would soon learn to either keep up or call through.

I was thinking that a % discount on the annual fee or perhaps a £100 credit on the bar bill would be more than enough incentive. Yes there are lots of "hitlers" at many clubs where a little power goes way too far. By the same token there are more members who would adopt a clear and sensible tone and I think a lot of people don't give clubs the credit they deserve. Most know which members would alienate and so wouldnt' use them (or at least regularly). I have to be honest and say for the most part my club is pretty much self-policed and there are perhaps a handful of rounds over the summer months where you could say the pace was unreasonably slow or you do find yourself being held up unneccesarily. Overall I'd take that
