Play offs here we come ?

Wonder what odds you could have got on that set of results ,
Where's Fundy when you need him :)

"We are the Wycombe , the famous Wycombe . Clap clap clap clap "
( sorry soccer chants rarely translate well into text :)

not looked at much of the footie today. I do know that if youd have found the 6 horses that won the scoop 6 races today it was in effect a 9 million to 1 shot haha. Not surprisingly no one did!

Bad luck Royals. At least we'll get six points from you next season. Given the time Brighton scored you had no chance to make your own winner. Speaking to Reading fans at work, many think they aren't strong enough to have gone up and been competitive. Looking forward to seeing you at the Mad Stad next year

Amazing Helicopter Saturday finish to the Scottish Championship [other wise known as Div 2].

Hamilton Accies, Dundee and Falkirk all within 3 points. 10,000 fans at Dens Park.
The Accies won 10-2 to secure a playoff place and Dundee hung on for the last few minutes to win the league by a point.

Unlucky Rich.....took my daughter to her first footie match today......Watford (her mums team) against Huddersfield (my team)......don't think I'll be getting any dinner tonight!! :D

Some really nice football played by Town....not sure why we couldn't do that all season....

You saw Joe Lolley make his first start for Huddersfield then. He went there after playing superbly for us (Kidderminster Harriers). He then only managed to get a few games on the bench. Apparantly he scored and set up two. What are your thoughts ?

Some score for Accies. The championship is usually a more exciting league than the top division tbf, but this season has been particularly close.

We have already pencilled in our trip to The Cottage. I have explained to my daughter that it is a proper old fashioned ground, and good for 3 points.:ears:

Worst team we have had for probably nine years, and we still just missed out on the play offs. It is encouraging that our Under 21's won the cup beating Man City, and our under 18's just lost out to your boys in the semi's. Hopefully both clubs will give the youngsters a chance.

Unlucky Rich...always harsh to miss out but look on the btight side..even worse to miss out in the Final...

Big up to the Mighty Chairboys who clung onto L2 status by the skin of their wotsits..
Had to win and they did.
Needed Bristol Rovers to lose - and they did.:whoo:
I have been to three play off finals, and we lost them all.:( Can't wait to get our season tickets for next season though, as at least we will be competitive, and not get stuffed every week in the Premiership.

well kind of unlucky, but if you leave it down to whatever others do its too late. Probably for the best, the current squad would get smashed week in week out in the premier league, so prob best off in the championship for another season. Positive signs though, some very decent players at reading!
Jordan Obita will play for England. Put some money on it.

I can remember a surreal experience when Swindon finally won the playoffs for [ I think] the first season of the new premier league.
In those days you could not watch live TV matches in your region.

My wife was recovering from some serious surgery and we went to North Devon for the weekend.
When we arrived at the hotel she was knackered from the journey and decided to have a kip.
I wondered around the empty hotel and discovered a TV room.
Switched on the telly to see Swindon kicking off. [Harlech TV across the channel]
I think they scored twice scored twice in the first 5 mins.

Looks promising........ Ward hat trick as well.....need to start next season with the same passion we showed today.

Took our daughter to her first match a couple of weeks back - the U21 final at Reasing against Man City

Both sides played very skilful football - really good to watch, and goodnsignsnfor the future

I like seeing Madejski back in charge at Reading. Hopefully he will change their plans to make a construction site across the road from me for all the young baby Bentley drivers to go and train at every day :)

Incredible last week for my club - back in the Premiership after a fantastic save by Kyle Letheren stopped Dumbarton equalising at the death - Noise the crowd made when the helicopter carrying the trophy flew over the stadium in injury time was about the loudest I've heard outside an Old Firm game - spine tingling stuff.

Dumbarton were an absolute credit to their town - great wee club, nothing really to play for but battled like crazy and their fans backed them to the hilt.

Hamilton won't get through the play offs - Falkirk are much, much better than them and none of the teams they could face will lie down in the shameful way Morton's did on Saturday.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wanted WW to be relegated. Bad end to a crappy season.
