Our team took the money in the roll up today, would have been 42 points for me off full handicap, hope I can do it again tomorrow.
Longhurst Cup, a medal event which is an honours board comp. You choose which two days over the three days (including the bank holiday) and it's two rounds (can't do two on the same day). Started today with a net 71 (+1) which considering my lay off was pleasing. Some duffed chips towards the end and three doubles annoyed but all in all quite happy. Not leading but I didn't play myself out of it

Grinding it at the range, a case of the drededs needs to be gone before the first round of the scratch league - I'm about 400 balls in since Wednesday and it's a close battle!

Played in the Charities Day Medal yesterday, had a chance of a cut but blew it up last 3 holes which is becoming a habit. At least I managed to scrape the buffer. Hosting my cousin and his mate who are home from Australia and some mates from work on Monday morning, hoping the weather is decent, looks ok apart from really windy on the forecast.
