Pitchmark repairers

They're face-balanced, two prong not so much :p
To be honest a lot of the manufacturers have been covertly reducing the loft of the repairers down the years to make you think you are better at repairing pitch marks than you actually are.
The number of poorly repaired pitch marks is testimony to this.

I lost nice pitch repairers so often that I bought a bag of 10 of those simple cheap aluminium ones. Haven't lost one since 😅

The single prong ones are definitely better for the greens.

I hate seeing someone look like they are trying to dig up mini potatoes with their 2 pronged fork.

I’m intrigued by these single pronged tools, even a quick google shows pretty much every retailer on selling double pronged ones. Clubhouse golf have the single pronged and the odd bespoke manufacturer but 95% retailers don’t seem to have them.

If they’re so much better why are seemingly less widely available and not being recommended by clubs/retailers.

I had no idea single prong repairers existed until reading this thread, to be completely honest. I've only ever seen two-prong ones.

I had a chat with my Fourball partners today; no one was aware of single prong repairers.
Due to all the rain here in the last 24 hours the greens were very soft and the repairers much used.
