PING Web Fit Help :)

Hi All

Just ordered my new Ping clubs and decided to go online and check out their web fit process.

Anyway, its basically saying my woods and hybrids need to be +0.5" longer.

Does anyone think this will make a difference to my shot shape etc as if it does I will ring my Pro and get my specs changed before they build them

Didn't you get fitted for them by the pro ?

Web fit is just a starting point.

I was fitted for my original irons and for the new driver which is standard but I havent been fitted for the new woods or hybrid

I am 6'5" and have 39" wrist to floor and my irons are 5* up, which is also what the web fit says they should be so im ckind of leaning to what they say.

I might go in tomoro and just mention it to them, its easier to get a shaft cut down by 0.5" than to add it I suppose

Its not that difficult to add 1/2" either, but go chat to him.

Never heard anything negative about Pings custom fit and customer service.I'm sure if your unhappy,they will sort it.All the best with the new sticks.

It was only a PING demo day at the local range and a previous fitting from them.

Dont get em for 10 days but I hope they are as good as they were on the night as I cant afford new clubs for 5 years now

G20 Driver
G20 4 Wood
G20 23* Hybrid

Probably get a couple more hybrids as they were just so easy to use and I could hit draws and fades as easy as pie!

I think you'll find that Ping are one of the best for making changes if you ask them but personally if you've been fitted at the demo day I'd stick with their recomendations for the time being until you get use to the new clubs and then see from there
