Ping Putter Opportunity

As a Midlander I am yet again really offended by the regional bias this magazine continues to show. Yes I do live in the Midlands, but there's no way I am going anywhere near Birmingham. I mean, have you been there recently? It's Bullring this, Balti that, Jasper Carrot bending your ear, everyone going 'alreet skip' at every opportunity.

Email sent.

Sadly I am on Holiday in Canada, would really have liked this one. Probably could have been the only way to get me to change my current putter as I love it so! If someone can prove something is better I would be happy to change, other than that Im sticking with what I have got as my pro keeps telling me I'm a fantastic putter.

As (bad) luck would have it, the putter is the only club I can use!
Not allowed to swing an iron or a wood until July so this opportunity will have to pass me by, despite the fact that I can only practice putting!

Slime.

Having already done the 3 day camel trek from Monifieth to the Forest of Arden before
distance is no object for a flat stick that works.

Would loved to have entered this. Being 6'6" means that an adjustable length putter would have been an ideal opportunity but alas, it's down south again.

I don't win anything normally, but always have hope! Everytime my phone beeps for an email, I get a little excited...only to realise it is another work email!

For the right club surely it has to be worth it?

I drove from Leicester to Bournemouth a couple of years ago for a similar opportunity, just because I believed it might make a serious difference to my game rather than just being a chance to grab some free gear.

I actually spent more on petrol than the club was worth, but my handicap went from 10 to 8 within a month of getting it and I finished the season on 7.

Jus' sayin'. :)

If I get in I will be travelling from Bradford, Motorway will be quiet at 6 in the morning. Distance is no object for a new shiny and potential handicap cut.
