Ping i25's sole width

No.....is there a prize for the first person to so? :D

nothing in it mate. almost identical

if i had i25's i wouldn't bother swapping. i have the iE1 and the figures are the same. i was desperately looking for a reason to buy the i200 but i couldn't find one reason to swap

Thanks, From all the reviews I've read I've come to pretty much the same conclusion,
its just when you look at the i200's the brain tells you they are not as chunky !

i personally don't think there's been any improvement on the i series since the i20's. they're all still fantastic clubs but alot of money to spend for the sake of it. which is what i done when i swapped my i20's for my ie1's

So...do I delete the email about a local Ping fitting day and forget the I200's and stick with my trusty I20's??

my biggest regret was selling my i20's. you'll go to the fitting and get fed the same old cobblers but it really is the same club

Thanks. I've looked at them in the flesh (I200s) and don't see a massive difference. That may be because I have Glide wedges and the backs look similar.

The i25's are superb irons. Best I have ever played with I think.

My only criticism is of the 3 and 4 irons as when at address, you can see the cavity back behind the face and I found this off-putting. I no longer carry either of them for this reason.

I have i25 hybrids instead plus a 2 iron hybrid and all are lovely.

I have the I25's and have hit the 200's and they do look a smaller, slightly thinner top line club although whether thats the cosmetic or whether it's actually smaller I don't know. What I do know is the I200 is a fantastic club and definitely on my shopping list

Was chatting to a local pro last night and he said he used to play with the i25 and subsequent models had very little gain for the club golfer.
He only changed to the Ping Angser which had better feel but no real difference in performance.
