Hi,

I took the head off my driver earlier, the screw fully came out and the washer fell to the floor, it’s split and perished.

The head went back on and has screwed in fine without the washer, it feels solid enough, but does that washer do anything? Do I need to find a replacement?

With Titleist drivers I'm sure the washer is only there to stop the screw falling out

As already said the washer is a retaining washer and stops the screw falling out of the head. It will also stop the adaptor from sticking to the head. It goes in on the shaft side and not the bottom of the head.

There is nothing special about the washer and you can pick up new ones on ebay (normally with a new bolt).
