Ping Driver Adjustment

This may be a stupid question.....

I git a couple of Ping drivers today from Goldbidder which I'll try under their 7 day no quibbles trial period.

I know the loft can be adjusted using the tool provided but what is the small dial for on the base? I've not had an adjustable driver before so not sure what it's for. See photo attached.

It is a small weight not a dial. Not for adjusting.

It’s a weight port, you can buy different weighted plugs to fit in and out, but they need to be heated up to remove as they are glued in, I’d suggest you just forget about it.
