It's a great way of making friends with ET. They didn't send any old tat, it was a meat and potato pie. The king of half time pies.

To be fair, it's not the first time we've sent a pie into space. The Wigan and surrounding areas Space Agency (WASASA) have been doing it for years in secret. If we made it public then every Tom, Dick and Harry would be sending meat, veg and pastry based snacks into space. It'd be chaos!!!!

I always had my suspicions tbh, seen a few Space Cadets and Alien life forms in a few pubs in Wigan. 😃
