Links views can be stunning of desolation/solitude! Favourite is still from fairways of Craigielaw with sun setting over Arthur's Seat and squadrons of geese landing on Aberlady bay - with Hares, Skylarks and Swifts/Swallows/Martins about too.
Countryside views from Parkland/Heathland courses can be great too. Walton Heath appeals to me - I resolve the roar of the M25 from 8th green to 11th tee as 'waves'!
