Picking on Smiffy

Why is everyone always picking on Smiffy, the poor old fart. If it's not his clubs it's his swing, if not that then it's his ability to shank the easiest of shots or even the fact that he plays a ball no-one else EVER uses... and keeps a 'frightener' in his pocket (whatever that is!).

I find him a pretty solid golfer. Especially when we are partners. Many a time I've stood on a tricky par 4 where he gets a shot and thought "at least we're almost guaranteed a 6 for 1pt"

I don't care what you say,,,, for me he'll ALWAYS be the 4 PUTT KING!!

If you've got something you want to say about him come right out and use this thread to do so!!!

A tough act to beat although HTL and I always manage to turn him and Normski over but in a stableford match he's pretty solid. Mind you its is funny to see when the whees, axle, exhaust etc all start to come off and drag along the floor behind the go-kart

Apart from his short drives, erratic irons, iffy chipping and dodgy eyes killing his putting he is one of the best golfers on here

Anyway, he is old, and smells of wee. How can we pick on the old and decrepid? With his shiny (oops, dull) new (old?) Pings.

He even lusts after a furry set of Ping head covers. To stuff down his trousers to mop up the drips? I'm not going to comment. Couldn't possibly. It would be unfair.

I say leave him alone!

I was fondling the i15's in the pro shop today. I don't care what you say...they are beautiful. Look the dogs danglies when you put one down behind a ball.
Even my Cobra playing mate had to admit that they do look one sexy looking club.
