Picked up wrong club in shop :( wanted reg but got stiff

Hi i brought a r11 driver last sat from NB`s and have worked out that i picked up a stiff shaft instead of the regular flex,
they say they will do a speed test for me and look into it ?
but i have used it up the range so classed as used.
has anybody used this service before and are they at nb helpfull ?, or will it be a case of hard luck sir and f.. off .

How did you work it out,did it not have it written on the shaft?

yeah but at first glance thought the "S" meant standard not Stiff

I think that NB have no responsibility to help, since presumably you didn't ask for advice, but they may help. They can swap the shaft for a R flex one, and you can keep the head with the marks on it.

I hate to say it, but it's your own fault really. Maybe the assistant could have checked that the club you were buying was suitable, but you are responsible for the club you take to the counter. I suppose, if they are feeling "really" generous, they could swap it for you, but I doubt that they would be obliged to. Good luck anyway..

At worst swapping the shaft should cost a minimal fee.

Well must give credit where credit is due. to the lads at Nevada bobs in eastleigh, they swapped the shaft from stiif to regular and set me up on that shaft at no extra cost .
