Penalty shots, how many can you have in one round ??

I played yesterday and have set myself a new record

Had to take an unplayable on the second, put a ball on to the railway at 4, lost a ball on 5 managed to get round to 13 before any more mishaps. There I was in the trees behind the green in 2 and as I was moving twigs from around the ball, managed to move it as well !! On the next green I managed to move the ball whilst addressing the putt.
Made it to the eighteenth and then put another ball on the railway. Made bogey on that hole with a birdie with the second ball and missed the buffer by one

Including stroke penalty think that gets to 10

I was playing with him and lost count at about 6
