Its a notink game so why damage the club , in a comp i would have declared the ball unplayable and drop it outside the bunker not nearer the hole , i would not damage the club in any way , as for the moaning , nuff said

I think it's drop within bunker unless you go back and take stroke and distance.

I think you can drop outside bunker (adding penalty stroke) if taking relief from flooded bunker if no (free) relief is available within it

I had to play off a stoney path once in a comp, I'll never forget it as it left a gouge in my soft forged Mizuno wedge which bugged me everytime I took it out the bag.

Bounce games, do as you wish, no claim no foul.
Comps, stick to rules.
