It's not possible to have a "fun" round and still play by the rules?
I think you really have missed the point again.

I see. So in effect, the OP posts a thread entitled "opinions" and wonders why his playing partner suddenly got the hump when he effectively played for "fun"? Bizarre. I really must be missing something - jam and chill pills by the sound of it.
Well....that's the thing with actions and opinions - you don't always get the response you like.

The OP asked to move it as it's a bounce game and both FC's said yes. The bloke got the hump when the OP made the up and down. Yes we all know it wasn't legal and that if there was no local rule regarding damage it would need to be a penalty drop, but if you ask the FC's are they happy and they say yes then whatever transpires from there is just the way it goes
Therein lies the rub. IF by some chance the group where playing quite happily by the rules (hard to believe I know) then there may have been the slightest chance that no complaints would result from either party as a consequence of anyone else's actions. There's still a chance that the FC may have been similarly displeased with the OP's prowess if they had dropped under penalty and scored accordingly, but ultimately it leaves no basis for a gripe. I hate to say it, but I've seen more arguments over alleged "fun" or bounce games than any other format - the premise put by the OP doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Asking for opinions after the fact though is daft - although somewhat predictable.
Are you a rules official ?
Do you play "golf"?
Do you play "golf"?
Guys, the Op asked for opinions, Nemicu has stated his, which is at odds with many, but it is still his opinion.
1 , Accept that he is entitled to his opinion
2 , Accept that you aint gonna change it
3 , Agree to disagree and move on.
Thank you
His opinion is wrong though 😊
