Opinions on Radio Commentry

Being at work my access to the Open has only been through the Radio commentary on 5 Live. Amongst the usual stalwarts has been Chris Evans who is clearly passionate about the game, knows his stuff and has been a breath of fresh air. Believe that he is actually being given a try at on course commentary tomorrow.

Anyone else been listening and think that he has proven to be a pretty decent choice.

I listened to the commentary on the 'wireless' on and off between 9 and 2 today and must say i enjoyed it thoroughly. The fact that they have to do little bits and pieces on everyting concerned paints a pretty good picture. I was suprised by the Ginger one's inclusion but thought he did a pretty good job considering it was his first stint .

Bit of a pain that they keep cutting to the news and travel - there is nothing else going on that merits attention!!
