Think its the 8th of April Martin:thup:, hopefully get in this year was meant to play it in 2011 but my back went a week before it

2 years on the trot me and big Paul entered on the day it opened and got in no problem. We try and get out around 1pm, easy drive up, lunch then into it.

That would be my plan no point in leaving at stupid o'clock in the morning to play early ,mind its never normally that windy early on haha

Dunbar and Peebles are the only two opens on my planner so far for next year, would like to play a few more though.

Downfield is a good track, I always make the trip for their open. Most of the higher quality courses tend to be 36 hole scratch opens though.
Don't miss out on Dornoch, it's awesome!
