Don't know how relevant that is but there you go, however a links course in a housing estate?
Can only post what im told bud.
And would highlight again the part "TRUE" links, many class links courses are no where near railways but many what are termed as "TRUE" links are.
Where's Jezz, he'll know for certain.
Is 'true links' a term you have just made up ? Just do a search on links golf and you will find out what the definition is. Links golf is defined by the type of land the course is situated on. Sure some links courses are by a railway line, but a lot of the courses were there before the railway, and not surprisingly most costal towns have a railway line.
As hard as reading the rest of the thread?Haha
up to speed now... dipping in and out at work![]()
It's not a term I've made up it's a term that gets used.
It's been done to death on this forum and well off topic of the thread, have a look here if you want to debate.

No debate, you quoted a links course is defined as having a railway line between the course and the sea. This is not correct, look at the thread you quote and you will read what defines a links course.
Haha, data usage was pretty high in my office yesterday too!!
He is "working" from home today as are the other two that I mentioned.... Hmmm I am a fool!
.Why is Poulter wearing Clown Shoes?
Between the Old Course and the sea are the New Course and Jubilee.
