One month of V-Easy and...

I suspect that once Bob has seen my putting stroke on Saturday I too may be coerced into buying one.

You cannot argue with the feedback that it is getting.

I've got one with your name on it all ready for Saturday :)

a round in under 10 strokes

I assume that's meant to be funny???! As someone who took up the game last year and got a 17 h/c I've been shooting single figures fairly consistently lately (on a new track) and I reckon for my level that's pretty good, were you born a Cat 1 yeah?

:D

Whoa easy tiger, yes it was a lighthearted joke :p maybe I'll put some more smileys in future

To answer your question, you are of course correct, I started with an 18 h/cap and got it to 5 by the end of the season, that involved practice every day and playing till dusk. No time for that now but still managing the handicap and thoroughly enjoying the challenge.

Apologies if I upset you :o

Hence my use of a smiley, I kinda figured it was tongue in cheek, still had to have a pop just in case :D

Damned text and its lack of intonation! It would take a lot more than that to upset me though believe me.

18 down to 5 is great going in one season, would love to have that sort of time to dedicate to it, whenever I get the chance to practice a couple of times in the week my weekend round is always so much lower, I let it slide for a week or two thanks to work etc and the next weekend is generally poor, I think the sort of golf I need to be playing to get to 5 h/c would cost me my marriage.

So I'm mulling it over.

:)
