One mainly for the Scots.

Haha I am not overly fussed about the Scotland great or rubbish that has appeared on this forum recently. Just found it funny you stated about a better way of living and just remembered that little fact so thought I would chuck it in there to see what reply I would get.

I just find this whole Scottish/British stuff hilarious, if youre from England Scotland Wales or Northern Ireland you are classed as British, you dont get a choice in the matter just the way it is, its like me saying I am not English I am East Angliah oooaaaa.

I do like debate but this whole Scottish thing is getting a little tedious now with how its creeping into so many different threads, but hey I suppose thats an online forum for you.

Try calling a Cornishman English then, see how far they tell you to go run and jump.
Who gets the vote anyway, Scottish born living in Scotland,Scots born living in the uk,or just residents of Scotland never mind what nationality they are?

People living in Scotland, hence why as stated earlier, a Yes vote will be very difficult to achieve, due to the large numbers of Guffs living here, especially in the north east, although in fairness, quite a few will vote yes, but most will vote no for the simple reason that they are of course guffs, and take this independence idea as a personal affront and insult.

I dont want independence either, ridiculous idea and would be a disaster for Scotland.

P.S the shouting is only coming from a few
Of course it wouldn't be a disaster, good grief we've been one of the most inventive and successful people on earth, why would that suddenly stop when we take back control of our own destiny?

And clearly the shouting isn't coming from just a few.

Nearly all of the English people I know living in Scotland vote SNP.
It is amusing to be doorstepped by an Englishman trying to persuade you to vote for the SNP.

Wonder why that is?

No one is forcing you to read & comment on these posts, if you don't want to fella.

Independence, sorry to say, i don't think it will happen.

Unfortunately when its a golf forum and I like reading the out of bounds section too as usually there are some good things in there, unfortunately unless you know of some other way I have to read the post to know what is in them, until that moment I am clueless as to what path the original thread has taken until I have read the contents. Admittedly this one did say for One mainly for Scots, I kind assumed it might not have lead to a Scotland great or rubbish thread again. The title of the thread doesnt always mean all its content is as it says on the tin.

I like reading the forum just not when a common theme starts running through a few different threads.

Fair point fella, you still don't need to comment.

As someone who can't vote as I jumped ship 10 years ago, I would say that it would now be a mistake. Scotland had it's chance and missed a trick in the 70's, all the revenue off the oil would have made Scotland quite well off, lets face it Maggies Britain was broke until the black gold rush. Norway does all right.

Have your independence, I really do not care. But once that border goes up and you are not part of the EU, be prepared to get your passport out to come down south. Those living here already will have to either give up there Scottish nationality or apply for a working Visa. Those that live just over the border and work in England will not find it too easy either, having to go through border control.

What a load of crap.

I always thought it was most of England who did not want to be in the EU.
If Adeys case is right, we shall be even more swamped by Daily Mail reading English white settlers.
