One for the computer / Gadget geeks

Ended up buying a toshiba z930. I have owned the similar model a few years back and loved it. All 1.1kg of it!! Just downloading office 2013... Decent spec though, office pro, a sleeve, 1yr antivirus, 1tb cloud storage, a new iphone5 USB and came in well under my £1k budget!

Thanks everyone for your help.

Sorry matey, never saw this post until today there, That tosh loks awfully similarly specced to the samsung bar the hard drive but reall, ultrabooks arent designed to be desktop replacements anyway.
Windows 8 is my bugbear, I just cant warm to it at all and ensure all my machinery comes in a downgrade to w7 at the very least, could well be worth asking Toshiba uk?
Virtual machines can be funny things, the generic drivers should allow almost anything to run but I have seen some running so laggy that it was worth it to rebuild an old pc and use it instead for the app in question though yours is specced with an ssd drive so could well run better. Virtual machines do swallow up quite a bit of drive space if not configured properly.
