I have been having a torrid time with my driver recently so shared my mates driver for 9 holes yesterday. Going back to a 12 degree regular was a revelation with gains in both yardage and accuracy.

I don't have the cash for the latest models if I want to buy something different so does anyone have any recommendations that can be picked up for as much under £100 as possible

TM Superfast burner (the black one) with reg shaft, most fun I've had with a driver. I know someone selling his under £50:whistle:

or theres the HL version which is 13* I believe

Best £80 I've spent was on my WS DXi Superlight, cracking driver although probably not the easiest to track down outside of Ebay.

What about the Cleveland Classix XL? £90 on Online Golf just now, I have 3w and 5w and they are cracking... if I didn't get on so well with the DXi, I might have been tempted by the driver too.

If you fancied a Cleveland Classic XL Custom I have a 10.5 deg one I would be willing to part with for £80 if interested ;)

If you want a forgiving 12* driver thats forgiving, can you possibly ignore the Ping K15? You will pick one up for under your budget!

The original Ping rapture driver. Hard pushed to beat it. I have a 9 and a 10.5 rapture and can't find anything else to challenge it.

Thanks for the suggestions. Appears to be of a dirth of 12 degree drivers abd done unrealistic price demands. Not paying £100 that some people want for clubs over 5 years old

I'm sure my Dad has an old Benross V5 12° driver with stock reg shaft and headcover. Both immaculat.e If your interested I could get pics.

£30 Delivered.

Thanks for the offer but if I go down the Benross route I will look at last years quad model or the VX Proto which I know I like and both are in budget
