OK..time for another Forum Golf Day..who's coming?

Well, I think I could do this guys, I'm all but 30 Mins away and I've not played there for about 25 years. I think I might sneak over there for a bash before hand. Oh, new clubhouse as well so I hear.

A friday is good for me.

I would love to but unfortunately August totally out of the question for me unless it was the Sunday before BH. I was in Edinburgh yesterday for a few hours and passed a number of "exposed" looking courses on the train with not many people playing.

We don't play when the trains run.......that gives us plenty time.

I'll give the club secretary a phone on Monday to check available dates in August. Luckily there are 5 Friday's that month. I'll then pm everyone to see who can make which dates to try to accommodate everyone who has expressed an interest.

Hi guys,

I've now spoken to the secretary at Glen Golf Club. Here's the deal.

They have tee times available for 12-16 golfers every Friday morning in August except the 29th

The cost is £44 for the round, coffee/bacon rolls on arrival and a 2 course meal afterwards. A deposit of £15 per golfer would be payable.

Tee times from 11am onwards to allow everyone time to arrive from all over.

To keep this post as uncluttered as possible can those interested please send me a private message detailing which of the following dates you CANNOT make it. I'll then make the booking by a process of elimination to hopefully accommodate us all;-

1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd August
