Why start a RANT thread looking for negative posts about the forum, it can only go one way.

There's a whole section for anyone who has any issues technical or otherwise with the forum!

Thing that I dont like is the extremes that some posters go to when they comment on the more controversial subjects.The sort of "shoot them in the face" stuff when the subject matter is really fairly trivial by comparison to their views.

I also get pi55ed off with the postings that ignore the actual golf rules with the "it's not in the spirit of the game" argument - if the rules say you can or cant do something and its in black and white, then spirit doesn't come into it!! So,if you dont want to user a laser or Skycaddie or take a drop when you can - don't demonise those who choose to!

Posts in the wrong place & peoples attitude when something is for sale.. " oh thats too expensive ".... ok so dont buy it but dont trash a guys for sale thread because thats what he wants for it.

I would prefer the forum to resize to browser size but i suppose that will have something to do with the side banners?

Also the I-pad "server/page not found" issue is really starting to grate, must be something to do with the port security settings in safari which you cannot change on i-pad as far as i am aware.

Other than that all is good.

Not had an issue with viewing the forum on my iPad. I have more problems in Firefox on my work (windoze) PC.

Setting myself up here i guess but hey you did ask Bob??
(1) the for sale thing where someone would comment something like its cheaper on ebay etc .. not buying or selling then butt out ..
(2)Taking the chat totaly away from the origional post .. if you wana chat bout something else start a new one or PM . not so bad if its about 15posts later but if its after 1 or 2 then the origional post gets lost
(3) referring to other peoples post as STUPID.. mayb stupid to you but not to the poster.. if it that stupid then dont reply ..
(4)I find in my short time on here that there are some people will reply negativly to some other posts automaticly. whether it a good post or not .. like they have fallen out on here over the years & are gona rubbish a poster rather than a post ..
(5)Ask the experts ?? how many experts do we have on here cept for bob ?? so who answers this section then ??
sorry if i seem bit negative here & if someone takes offence i also apologise but if you do take offence ask yourself why ?? why do you think it was aimed at you ? this is not aimed at anyone personaly in any way .. enjoy the forum no end , realy enjoyed the forum meet in ballyliffin & meting the lads . hope to play many more & be on here for a long time .. again i hope i havent upset anyone ..

Just reading some posts at times & i often felt like commenting on some of the remarks mate but didnt feel like i was on here long enough to do that .but seeing as bob asked .. the good far outweighs the bad tho ..
