2 days of spring like weather prompted me to get out on the course on sunday for an hour, and onto the practice ground today for an hour too.

Coupled with the long winter of non-golf, and the swing changes I'm trying to adopt after a lesson in November, all I can say is that at the moment, I havent a clue what shape shot I'm hitting !

Even hitting it well proved a task today .........

Much work me thinks before Season starts proper....... :D

I wouldn't worry too much Chris. It's amazing how you can't hit out of your way one day and then middling everything the next.

It's one of the reasons we love this great game :)

I agree. Now I'm not sure how much is down to that mystical aura caused by new clubs that your current model picks up on but I took the R9's out to the range on Sunday while the TP's were regripped (too thin). Now I'm sure they must have known their place in the bag was coming to an end (for now) as I hit them like an idiot. Put the TP's in tonight and much, much better in terms of swing, tempo, connection and direction. Still not right but a whole lot better. If only my short game would come out of hibernation I might have half a chance of posting some good numbers

You'll be OK. Get in some good practice sessions and it'll come back. It took me about 5 ranges and 2 9-holes to even start to feel my swing was in there somewhere.
All my best laid plans of keeping it going over the New Year fell apart with the snow.....
Chin up. :)
