I got a lovely 90 quid Sunderland jacket (stowed away in the bag) and just 5 mins ago treated myself to a new shaft for the driver (another 60 quid).

My wife is more likely to comment on what our son has bought. He works at the our club. She soon noticed his new shirts and trousers he got 2 weeks ago. He would also tell her what I bought.

It was a TM demo day at our place yesterday....... oh dear!

Ordered TM MC/MB combo irons + RBZ driver and 3 wood.

I had sort of hinted I was thinking of getting some 2nd hand irons off fleabay and she was ok with that... I guess the TM gear was, er, bought off Fleabay.

HID is cool. As someone else said as long as the bills are paid, the mortgage is sorted and we've food on the table she's happy. As she let rip in Milton Keynes while I was at Woburn big time I actually have the moral high ground for once. She normally trots along when I try something out anyway so I've never bother hiding anything. 16 pairs of FJ take a lot of hiding. I did try the "I got it from GM" a few times back in the day when I did the pages but I think she saw through that

'My mate' who works in Austria has just bought A1ex's R11 5-wood and had it delivered to my house so I can pass it on when he is over with work in May - thats the line and I am sticking to it.

While we were at a work function last Spring he asked in front of HID if he could use my address as a post destination for Ebay stuff as he wanted a set of clubs he could use here. They are usually in my garage.

I will pop my R11 hybrid (its a naughty club) in his bag and ask if he fancy's buying it off me :rofl:
