Of course I haven't dear

Have you bought any golf equipment recently that HID doesn't know about yet ?
Or does HID read the forum so you cant say?

Funny you should mention this Bob.

I picked my Mizzy MP-32's up on Wednesday night. She didn't know I was getting them until we went to my parents house and I said I was off to pick them up, her face was a picture

On a positive note I've got some partial feeling back on the right side of my face

i tend to use the old ruse when i get new shirts or pants ( at least one a month) that i had money in the two's at the club,by my reconing i must be getting 24 2's per round.

It never seems necessary to discuss my golf purchases with HID - she never wants to hear about the round that I play with what I buy!!

The Mrs wouldnt have a clue if anything new was in the cupboard under the stairs where I keep my golf gear, same as I wouldnt have a clue if she'd been out and had her hair cut, bought new clothes, shoes and handbag.

Bought a pair of Puma Cell Fusion 3's from the Puma website sale earlier this week and now just bought a pair of adiCross from the Golf Depot at £49.99.

Luckily I keep all my shoes in the garage in shoe bags so hopefully I will get away with it..... Unless they are delivered when she is home. Sad, I know :)

I normally get stuff delivered to the office. But stupidly had new bag dleivered the other week to the house.
Had to come while i was out golfing tho :(

if my wife found out that i just treated my self to a Callaway razr fit for £329 i think she would file for a divorce.i hide it in the bag but always with the rain hood zipped up. my problem now is i cant hit it and have gone back to my FT9 so will be trying out some new shafts soon so that will be another £100 odd.

I have a simple solution - a wife with a more expensive hobby than golf - horses! I actually get encouraged to spend on golf so as to make the horse costs appear reasonable - fat chance:rofl:.

Thinking about some new irons (that I won't be able to hit) and a new bag.

Really shouldn't though.

The irons would be ok, and under the radar as I normally leave the rain hood on, but a new bag would stand out quite a bit. I fancy a Sun Mountain H2NO, as I would quite like a waterproof bag.

Luckily the HID doesnt really comprehend how much some golf items cost so it just kind of passes her by... very handy in situations like yesterday when my new Galvin Green's appeared! :)

I could change my irons every day and she would be none the wiser. Anything with a head cover she would spot straight away, which is why I use mizuno tour head covers most of the time, she’s used to seeing those.

Everything I buy is described as "won it on ebay for £10, costs £100 brand new so saved myself 90 quid".

She is more scundered with the parcel force guy rapping on the door with another club in a box :) and the fact that every new club in means that one will be going out. So the same guy will be back to collect the old one.

Got my eye on a nice set of MP52's in buckingham, so might take the wean out for a drive on sunday to pick them up lol

nearly got caught out with my r11 as HID spotted different headcover in bag fobbed her off with bought a new cover phew!! but did get find out with the skycaddie as she was asking about getting one for me as a xmas present had to own up to already having one or end up with 2! which wasnt a problem until ebay got found!

I am lucky my wife is 220 miles away but sadly any money I would be using on golf is currently making its way into savings for our next place or in fuel to visit her every other weekend.

I just about manage to put enough aside for a round here and there as well as 2 weekly range visits.

Thankfully she has no real interest in my finaces and any purchase is usually met with the comment "Its your money"

I pulled one on my wife a couple weeks back, told her that I had won an auction on eBay for a new set of G20 irons......expected her to go ballistic at me, instead she asked how much? I told her £320 and she said "Blimey, that's a good price for brand new"..........

I know she's given me the ok to look for new sticks once the kitchen is finished but her reaction took me by surprise.......so answer me this, why do I still feel guilty looking for new clubs??
