Of course I haven't dear

Thankfully the lady doesnt mind me spending on golf as she buys clothes and shoes every other day! Had broached the subject of new irons when we were out and she was buying me my golf buddy, she was ok apart from the fact she paid for my irons less than 2 years ago.

Shame on the lot of you...are you men or mice?!?!?!

Tell her to get back in the kitchen and stop nosing around with your golf gear..........

My wife knows about all my new clubs. It is amazing how much gear I get sent to test by GM;)

To be fair she does not worry at all about what I spend on golf as long as there is food on the table and the mortgage is paid. That said, she may give me a few stern looks if I do get some new irons to replace the 'clearly faulty' CG16s. They may be delivered to work.

Got a Bushnell Tour V2 rangefinder the other week of ebay the only reason I have not told her is that she has no interests in golf what so ever and in the great scheme of things a couple of hundred quid is not here or there, anyway HID is off to Spain tomorrow for 4 days with her mates, so that golf all weekend for me!!!!!!!!!!

I don't buy stuff on the sly. I would only spend money that I can afford to spend. It's not lke I'm spending £300on gear in a month when we are £200 short on the mortgage or anything.

If I'm thinking of buying something, I'll mention it to her and see what she says. If she doesn't mind then happy days. If she has an issue, it's usually becasue she has a far better idea of what our finances are like and knows we have an expensive month coming up, in which case i'm glad she's being sensible.

The Mrs wouldnt have a clue if anything new was in the cupboard under the stairs where I keep my golf gear, same as I wouldnt have a clue if she'd been out and had her hair cut, bought new clothes, shoes and handbag.

Same as that, every club in my bag, driver, irons, hybrid, 3 wood, putter just magicly appeared :)

Although i did hear a comment from the shed the other day (where the old clubs end up) "how many bags and clubs does one person need ?!"

It's actually not too much of a problem for me as my HID also plays a bit so any new wedges or putters that appear in my bag mean a shiny new (2nd hand one) can go in her bag.

It's a win/win for me :-)

H'mm! Incredible bad diplomacy imo! :o

PS. I'm twice divorced!

She knows exactly what I have as she bought me my new clubs look below she also doesn't mind me spending as long as we have food on table and daughters nursery fees are paid every week

if my wife found out that i just treated my self to a Callaway razr fit for £329 i think she would file for a divorce.i hide it in the bag but always with the rain hood zipped up. my problem now is i cant hit it and have gone back to my FT9 so will be trying out some new shafts soon so that will be another £100 odd.
Tab, can u not put the ft9 cover on the razer fit when its in the house, or is she that good?

New pair of FJ AQL's arrived today. Had them delivered to work. Taken them out of the box and got rid of all the labels and packaging. They're sitting in the boot of the car at the moment. I'll nip out early tomorrow morning while it's still dark and she's asleep, bring them indoors and pop them in my shoe bag without her knowing.
If I wear them on Sunday and get them a little dirty she'll never know.
Will she.

Sounds a good plan, assuming one of your mates doesn't drop you in it.

She knows about all my spends and is pretty cool with them, she's knows I always try for a bargain so if I spend she knows that it wasn't a impulse buy.

Although I do really fancy that new golf buddy gps
