This is the latest #7 model from Odyssey with the new metal X insert and first impressions are excellent. The dark finish (midnight black) and white allignment lines really make allignment easy, over a couple of rounds this putter has made me much more confident standing over any length of putt. It is wonderfully balanced and the Lamkin 3GEN Pistol grip has a lovely feel and encourages a lighter grip. The insert does seem to do what Odyssey claim, the dimples forming a lock with the ball and giving a truer roll off the face. Overall a great putter worth considering if your in the market for a new putter.
