Novelty idea for a comp?

Just looking at all the forum meets we have going on through the year and I had a brainwave.

We seem to have a very wide and diverse group of forumers on here so if we had a forum meet and had two teams, who would win...

Under 35's vs over 35's ?????


I think with the strength of the young guns on here we'd be fine in a matchplay format!

We shall see.... If there's interest I can look into something later in year. I'm in the midlands afterall so it could be somewhere central to everyone...

at 33 I have a mix of both lol, and I reckon I could still get stuffed ha ha!

but it would make for an interesting set of matches!!

I like the idea of regionalised games to keep the costs and travelling down. What we could do is have it either as matchplay either as singles or 4 ball better ball and keep a cumulative points score or a stableford comp with everyones score counting towards an overall total. That way everyone across the forum potentially gets to play in it somewhere reasonably near them (do it via arrange a game section). Only my tuppence worth
