For some reason I have stopped getting any notifications from any thread I am subscribed to!
I've checked my settings and my 'Default Thread Subscription Mode' is set to 'Instantly, using email' ................ yet nothing happens.
Any thoughts?

Oh, and I've cleared my cache.

I've just noticed that I was unsuccessful at clearing my cache and history.
For some reason it just won't clear.
I'm on Firefox 41.0.1.

Is there anyone out there who can give me a hint as to what the settings should be, please?
Maybe a screen shot of what they should be.
Could I be subscribed to too many threads?
It's doing my head in!

Just another thought.
Is anyone on here using o2 as their email/broadband provider for their homes?
I'm not talking about o2 mail on cellphones, just o2 webmail for pc's and laptops.
I hope I've worded that correctly!
Thanks.

Still no notifications!
Final thought, (which also acts as a bump),.
Could a Mod possibly look at my settings just to confirm that it's nothing I'm doing.
I've been over everything many times and, if I had any, it makes me want to pull my hair out.
Cheers guys,

Yes, mate.
I've checked everything several times.
What confuses me is that it was so sudden and for no reason I can think of.
I'd not changed any settings and it's only notifications from this forum that have stopped coming through.

Had a look at your settings, played about with a couple of things, but nothing obvious
resisted the temptation to change your forum name to"The Slimy Thing From The Planet Slime" and your avatar from the Shark to a bowl of lime green jelly :)

also sent you a pm to see if that notification works

I've just changed to a new email address and changed that in my settings.
I then got an email asking me to verify the change ............................. that's got to be a good sign .

but was the email to the new or old address???
It's to a new address .................................... and they're all coming through :whoo:.
I'm in the process of binning all my o2 accounts as they are no longer supported by o2 ....................... or anyone else!
Shocking performance by o2 who sold their broadband to Sky, who also refuse to support o2 Webmail!

The situation is this;
With o2 email, after almost four problem free years, suddenly no notifications :(.
Temporarily switched to a Yahoo email address and started getting notifications :).
Finally switched to gmail, as recommended, immediately stopped getting notifications :(!

I want to stick with gmail, if possible.
Are there any gmail specific settings I should be aware of?
I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird too.
Thanks guys.
