NOT your handicap... whats the best you have played to?

As the title suggests...

I played a local course yesterday as ours is still in abit of a state and shot 13 over gross. My handicap I would say is probably higher than what I truly play to but I have only ever handed in 3 cards last year and played bounce games since with no intention to use it in comps. Before anyone starts down the usual route before I do play comps I will be at a new club and submitting 3 new cards.

It would be interesting to find out whats the best score you have played to against your handicap...

i.e.

Im off +22 but have played to +13.

The best I've ever played to is 14 although my current official handicap is 22 I think in reality it is probably more around the 18 or 19 mark at present so I'm hoping for some cuts in the competitions this year.

The best that I have played to is 10 and I have done that twice. Current handicap has creeped up to 19 so really need to work on getting that down.

One under coming down the last only to double it for a one over, So far this year I have been level or better with 3 holes left only to finish +2 :-(

2 over 74 when playing off 8 .... then 1 over 73 when off 6 last season.

That's unlucky. Would be good if someone actually comes out with a score under par

Was off 1.8 August last year. Not too far off 4 atm after the winter season!!!!

Best round has been -5 with a good number in between -3 and -1.

Out of Competition -4(66) playing off 9

+6 three times, at three different courses, off 12 and 13. Interestingly (to me, anyway), each of those rounds has included a triple bogey.

Shot 76 (+4) in October. I had forgotten I had done it until a couple of days ago. Obviously wasn't that memorable. I'd have been off 10 at the time

17 over 88 is my best, I've had a 3 over back 9 though, best not to mention the front 9

Yes. Inactive or active, it is still your handicap and it goes with you from one club to the next.

Anyway, to answer your original question. I have just slipped up to 16 and the best I have played to in competition is 11.
