NOT your handicap... whats the best you have played to?

That's unlucky. Would be good if someone actually comes out with a score under par

Well trumpet blowing time my first comp I ever won when I was a member at Waterstock GC went like this, I was playing off of my first HC of 14 and the group I was playing in made remarks about me supposed to have been a bit tasty off of this well after 9 holes I was 14 over and playing shocking. The chaps in the group were like "thought you were supposed to be a decent player" and having a good old laugh at my expense,I then proceeded to have my best and still my best ever 9 holes of a 32 ( -4) !!

I went on to win the comp still play just the same now front always rubbish then burn the back up.

In proper 18 hole competition , level par off 8.. was -3 on the 16th tee and went double ; par; bogey .. the "what could have been" slightly took the joy out of it .. I WILL break par in a comp this year .. I WILL

13 hole winter league full greens & tees i signed for -2 .. i dont count that tho . has to be 18 for me

74 a couple of times in competition. The first time was in our club championship back in 1995 playing off 16 (net 58). Still not surpassed that to this day.

In competition, 4 over a couple of times and 5 over a few more. We rarely do scoring otherwise as we generally play matchplay bounce games.

shot +7 playing off 18. Once and not got anywhere near it since!!! think that was my one round of a lifetime chipping in 3 times, hardly missing fairways, not to be repeated any time soon i expect!

Have shot +1 when playing off 12 and -1 when playing off 10, so both times 11 better than h'cap. Have also been 11 over h'cap numerous times!

Current best was a +2 round of 73 to win midweek medal last September. I hit every fairway and ony misse 3 GIR was definitely my best round for ball striking, still took 32 putts though.

19 over twice when off 23 and 21. I have a lot to learn.

My electic score at my old club was 1 under though, which made me feel pretty good about myself (if not a little disappointed at the same time!)

Qualifiers/comps are just one part of the system though ;)

Surely if the handicap was issued during last season then that means he competed the required 3 cards that we acceptable and so his handicap is active for the next year.

If his handicap was awarded last year after submission of 3 cards, and he has played no qualifiers or supplementaries since the award, the handicap becomes inactive on the first anniversary of the award.

I believe Dave joined well over a year ago so would not of handed a card in within the last 12 months. Not 100% but he will be along soon to fill u all in.

Hit a 75 twice which was 8 under par for my handicap

Played sat sun mon last week and was 9 under for the 3 rounds
