Northumberland GC- Any reviews?

Great course, but a wee bit old fashioned and stuffy in the clubhouse. I'd certainly revisit. Just bear in mind you'll need to follow the dress code etc to the letter.

Great course with very quick greens. One of my favourites. They have a mens' & senior mens' open each year, I play in both. Don't hang your jacket on the back of your chair, mind. Less stuffy now, they used to have a sign outside the clubhouse reading "No women or dogs past this point"

I've never played it, even though it's very local
It is a very traditional members club, and as has been suggested, check the dress code club rules thoroughly, if you intend to use the bar or dining room.

A few years ago now (3-4 maybe ?? ) they recruited a new head greenkeeper from Carnoustie, and from then on, locals have lavished praise upon his work, most notably the greens.
He has made a big impression.

Should you visit, there is another golf course a few hundred yards up the racecourse drive, with a driving range on site, if you feel the need to warm up before your round
