Noodle balls ?

Smiffy and JustOne are your men for this one. The ball can't be that bad if James can knock it round in the low 70s (60s sometimes). He does it playing with shovels too.

I used them for winter golf where spin and soft feel didnt matter too much. I then used Srixon z stars in the summer, but, I have tried the Noodles recently and gained some good yardage off the tee and my dispersion rate has significantly improved. I have had to ease back on chipping and putting because of the feel of the ball is harder but have to say I really like them and at about £11 a dozen the bank balance does too!

TaylorMade? Maxfli surely?

I used to use them quite a lot, I quite like them, wouldn't say no if one appeared in my pocket to be honest. Probably would chose a spinnier ball for a hard green though.

I bought a 36 ball box of them for £19.99, Bargin!

Maxfli were bought by taylormade a few years back.

I think they are a decent enough ball, probably equivalent to Srixon AD333. I like them as they get enough spin to stop dead on the greens without spinning violently backwards as tends to happen with Z-stars and ProV's.

I would love to get that sort of backspin :D

You clearly play a different game to me James!!

aaarrgh...this thread reminds me. I had a few Dunlop Loco balls in my bag (found) and for some reason when I'm just doing a knockabout I pull them out and use them.
The bizarre thing is that whenever I do use them I play some of my best golf with the straightest and longest shots.
Yet i just cannot bring myself to use a cheap ball like that and always got back to my Bridgestone or Srixons. hmmmm.

Not played with them as the name alone puts me off them. Everything about it screams rock and despite the opinions to the contrary I'm still not convinced. Come the winter I'll bash the AD333 and NXT's into the bushes instead

Noodles are very good balls indeed, especially for a tenner a dozen.

Would use them over Ad333 (overated hugely IMO) any day of the week.

Also look at Wilson Staff DX2 Soft, I play these on and off and really like them, smiffy plays them too.

I actually bought a 3 dozen box of these tonight for 33 euro in sportsworld......a bargain methinks.....I bought them for the winter.
