No Roll .... Help !!

I've never had trouble with "ballooning" or hitting it too high, i just don't seem to get any roll out at all. I'm not looking to hit it lower just for it to move forward when it lands. Maybe that's not possible but with so many golfers on here i thought i'd pose the question and seek some advice.

It sounds as if you may have a slight out to in swing path and an open face at impact which may balance each other out so fly fairly straight. The problem is that combination just hits it higher with more spin.
Is your grip neutral, strong or weak?

You're probably right Bob, i'm told my grip is neutral from fellow playing partners .

Similar problem here, ball looks great as it leaves the club (I often get compliments from playing partners about how my ball looks on the air) but when it lands, very little roll.
Had a lesson with Pro using launch monitor and my numbers looked great - if you were hitting a sand wedge. I have a ridiculous amount of back spin using driver.
I actually like my high ball flight with little run for most clubs as it means the ball stays on the green, but he gave me some little tweaks with set up, posture and grip - just for driver - and it's made a fair bit of difference.
More run and it hasn't messed up my other clubs

Thanks NM. I frequently get "great drive" or "nice shape" and such like until they see where it actually ends up !!!! Maybe just 30 mins with our Asst Pro on grip and set up might sort me out. I'm not subscribing to lessons but an MOT of sorts could work !!!!!

Not all pros want to pull your swing apart.
Tell him/her what you have told us and he/she should be able to tweak something to help

Just been pointed to this thread as I'm getting exactly the same problem.
I'm interested in hearing more about the how shaft flex and balls can influence roll out?

,
.
you said in the other thread you have twenty to thirty yards roll out on a 200yd carry ,
that is a hell of a lot of roll out mate ,i should be so lucky to have that much .
watch the pro game ,even they dont get that much.

I've probably overestimated then.
All I know is that after the carry I get a couple of bounces and a short roll out whereas my partners runs forever.
