I was up at the practise ground yesterday and planned to head home when it was dark which, in my head, was about 4. After being there for a while, I checked my watch and found it was 4.09 and wasn't close to being dark.

One of the joys of living in Cornwall is the time the sun goes down. Even at it's earliest between the 6th and 12th December it doesn't set until 4:17 with light fading at around 5 pm on a clear night. Sunset is already out to 4:31 and light until after 5 on a clear day. I can play until well after 10pm in the height of "summer".
